ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Avery O'Rourke (b. 2001, San Fernando Valley) is a fun girl who makes art sometimes. Avery discovered her love for animation quite by accident at Pratt Institute, where she realized her years of ballet training growing up transferred beautifully into skills of understanding movement, shape, and timing. She graduated with a major in Art History and a minor in 2D Animation, but now spends her time modeling (she’s beautiful) or working at Chinatown bar “The River” where she also writes and hosts monthly sponsored trivia events. Avery has been considering getting back into the art game for awhile now because it “makes her feel good about herself”, so we may see more animations or films from her in the near future.
